Eligibility & Program Compliance

The customer confirms they meet all applicable eligibility requirements under any federal or state rebate, incentive, or energy efficiency program associated with the installation.

They agree to provide all required documentation for compliance, including proof of identity, property ownership or rental consent, and utility account details (if required).

Where applicable, the customer consents to the creation and surrender of certificates (e.g. STCs, VEECs, ESCIs, or other local certificates) to Creditex or its authorised partners.

Cooling-Off Period

The customer is entitled to a 10-business day cooling-off period from the date of signing orelectronically accepting this agreement. Cancellations during this period incur no penalties or fees, provided the installation has notcommenced.

Scope of Work

The standard installation scope includes:

  • Removal of the existing unit (if applicable)
  • Supply and installation of the selected system (heat pump, solar PV, battery, or air conditioner)
  • Required plumbing and/or electrical work (within standard limits)

Installations are carried out by fully licensed and accredited tradespeople and comply with all applicable building, electrical, and energy standards in your state or territory.

Site Access & Customer Responsibility

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the installation site
  • Remove any obstacles, hazards, or obstructions prior to installation
  • Be present or provide an authorised representative at the time of installation

Unforeseen conditions (e.g. asbestos, unsafe wiring, structural issues) may delay installation. Any rectification required will be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Additional Charges

While many installations are subsidised through rebates or incentives, additional charges may apply in the following scenarios:

  • Switchboard upgrades or electrical non-compliance
  • Excessive pipework, trenching, or wiring beyond standard limits
  • Site access difficulties or installations outside metro areas
  • Crane hire, scaffolding, or council permits (if required)
  • Unit relocation due to space constraints or customer preference
  • After-hours installation or rescheduling within short notice
  • Gas service modifications or removals (for electric system upgrades)
  • Duo or Pressure Limiting Valve (PLV) installation, if not already present
  • Battery cabinet installation or special mounting (e.g. wall-hung systems)

All additional charges will be discussed and approved in writing before the work proceeds.

Payment Terms

Where a co-payment is applicable, it must be paid in full on the day of installation, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Accepted payment methods: Cash / Card / Bank Transfer

Warranty

  • Product warranty: Covered by the manufacturer, typically 5–25 years depending on product type
  • Workmanship warranty: Minimum of 2 years, provided by the licensed installer

Warranty is void if the system is misused or not maintained in accordance with manufacturer instructions. All claims must be made in writing and may require inspection.

Cancellations

Cancellations outside the cooling-off period may incur fees for call-outs, restocking, or materials already allocated or dispatched.

Limitation of Liability

Primrose Enterprises Pty Ltd is not liable for:

  • Loss or damage resulting from existing infrastructure faults
  • Delays due to third-party approvals (e.g. network upgrades, DNSP approvals)
  • Consequential damages, lost savings, or service interruptions
  • Damage caused by unauthorised system modifications or neglect

Privacy & Data Collection

Customer data is collected and used solely for:

  • Eligibility verification
  • Rebate and certificate processing
  • Warranty registration and compliance

All personal data is managed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and may be shared with relevant government bodies and product suppliers where required.

Customer Declaration

By proceeding with this installation, the customer confirms:

  • They have read and agreed to these terms
  • They authorise creation and surrender of energy certificates where applicable
  • They have authority to approve installation at the nominated property
